The trade body that represents, promotes and protects the UK leather industry, Leather UK, has announced footwear and accessories group Tapestry as its newest member.

Tapestry said the move underscored its commitment to sustainability, transparency and responsible sourcing. 

Director of Leather UK, Dr Kerry Senior, said the organisation would work with Tapestry to strengthen collective efforts to establish “a more sustainable and innovative future for the leather industry”.
