Abicalçados makes big claim about São Paulo shoe event

Brazil’s national footwear association, Abicalçados, has said an exhibition it ran for the first time in 2023, BF Show, is now the biggest shoe industry event in Latin America.

A third edition of BF Show took place in São Paulo in November, attracting 238 exhibitors representing 330 shoe brands.

Almost 10,500 visitors attended the show in November, with 1,130 of them travelling from outside Brazil.

Abicalçados, which runs the event in partnership with exhibition organiser NürnbergMesse Brasil, has now said BF Show is the largest footwear industry event in Latin America.

The event will next take place from May 19-21, with the Distrito Anhembi exhibition centre in São Paulo as the venue.
