New figures from Alliance France Cuir put the value of the country’s footwear exports in the first ten months of this year at almost €4.6 billion, flat compared to the same period last year.

Over the same period, French leathergoods manufacturers brought in export revenues of €10.7 billion, an increase of 3% year on year.

Handbags made up almost €7.7 billion of the total, up by 4% compared to the January-October period in 2023.
