Footwear brand is regional winner in Entrepreneur of the Year awards

Co-chief executives of outdoor footwear brand Icebug, David Ekelund and Tom Nilsson, will represent western Sweden at the national Entrepreneur of the Year competition.

The two were named as joint-winners for western Sweden in the regional round of the event, which is organised by professional services firm EY. The final will take place in Stockholm in March.

“We are excited for the next round of the competition and hope to inspire young entrepreneurs to build sustainable business models,” Mr Nilsson said. “Entrepreneurship becomes even more rewarding, and even more important, when more people benefit from your success.”
