eVent Fabrics teams up with Topo
Membrane technology provider eVent Fabrics has partnered with Topo Athletic to supply its eVent BIO Footwear technology, a waterproof and breathable laminate made from renewable plant-based materials. This technology will feature in Topo Athletic’s Terraventure 4 WP trail shoe and Trailventure 2 WP hiking boot.
Chad Kelly, President of eVent Fabrics, stated that the partnership reflects a commitment to sustainable practices, allowing brands like Topo to deliver high performance while reducing environmental impact.
The Terraventure 4 WP includes an eVent BIO bootie construction to prevent water entry, a tightly woven mesh upper for a secure fit, and a Vibram Megagrip outsole for traction.
The Trailventure 2 WP features a full eVent BIO waterproof bootie, a ZipFoam midsole for comfort, and gaiter attachments to keep out dirt and debris.
Both models aim to meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance outdoor footwear.
eVent will be exhibiting at Performance Days in Munich in Hall A2, Booth P12. Samples of the shoes will be featured.
