The organisers of the Micam and Mipel footwear and leathergoods exhibitions have announced that 40,950 visitors passed through the turnstiles at their most recent editions, which closed in Milan on September 17.

This figure also includes visitors to jewellery and fashion events that took place in parallel.

Footwear industry body Assocalzaturifici said the events had strengthened their role as “a meeting and development hub, embodying the essence of excellence”.
