Senior appointment to head up DTC business for Puma

Sports brand Puma has appointed Erik Janshen to lead its direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. This includes the company’s stores worldwide, its own e-commerce site and several other online marketplaces.

Mr Janshen has previously held similar positions at Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.

Puma said that improving the quality of its distribution is one of its strategic priorities. It added that “seamlessly connecting consumers with the company’s products and initiatives” is an important aspect of this.
