German startup Zellerfeld has recently launched a new design platform to provide accessibility to its innovative 3D-printed sneaker technology for a wider audience.

The platform enables designers to quickly transform their concepts into physical models, significantly reducing the development time from over a year to just a few days.

Additionally, Zellerfeld has implemented a paid production slot system to manage demand and secure a place in the production queue.

According to CEO and co-founder Cornelius Schmitt, this launch represents a significant shift in the industry, aiming to transform footwear design processes by leveraging industry partnerships to create an open platform.
