Brazilian footwear brand Usaflex has opened its first store in the US, choosing Framingham, Massachusetts, as the location. Framingham has a large Brazilian community.

Usaflex launched in 1998 in Igrejinha in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It now has four factories in the state’s most famous footwear-producing region, Vale dos Sinos. It has a total production capacity of 25,000 pairs of shoes per day.
