Parent group Amer Sports has announced that the chief executive of one of its brands, Salomon’s Franco Fogliato, left his position on April 12 with immediate effect. It said his departure was for personal reasons.

Chinese group Anta Sports acquired Amer in 2019 and appointed one of its vice-presidents, James Zheng, as chief executive of the Amer group in 2020.

It has now said that Mr Zheng will lead Salomon on an interim basis until the group finds a successor for Mr Fogliato.
