Fashion group Inditex has announced a series of logistics projects that will include a new distribution centre for its footwear and accessories design and sourcing division, Tempe.

It will build a new Tempe distribution centre in the Valencia region. The new facility will take up more than 140,000 square-metres of space.

Tempe designs and distributes shoes and accessories for six Inditex brands. It works with more than 350 finished product manufacturers around the world.

Inditex said it had decided to invest €900 million in logistics expansion projects in the course of the next two years to prepare the group for “important future growth opportunities”.
