Footwear group Geox has appointed a new chief executive. Former Luxottica Group executive Enrico Mistron is to take up the role, replacing Livio Libralesso. 

Mr Libralesso became chief executive of Geox in early 2020. Geox said he was standing down as a director of the company with immediate effect but would stay at the company until the end of March to help with the transition.

This news coincided with Geox reporting sales of just under €720 million for 2023, down by 2.2% compared to the previous year.
