Adidas responds to kangaroo leather concerns

Sportswear group adidas has responded to criticism from campaign groups over its ongoing use of kangaroo leather in football boots.
It said it now uses kangaroo leather in less than 1% of all the football boots it makes and that the material it sources comes from suppliers that are monitored and certified by the Australian government to be in keeping with animal welfare and species protection programmes.
