Christie’s New York will host a series of sales at their Rockefeller Centre event, featuring iconic items from Elton John's former Atlanta home. A series of sales, both live and online, will commence on Wednesday, February 21.

The “extraordinary collection” of items holds great significance in the celebrated singer's personal journey.  Of particular interest are a pair of monogrammed silver leather tall platform boots with red leather letters E and J on the sides and platforms with red and white stripes, which were worn during numerous performances throughout the 1970s.

The boots, co-designed by Elton John,  are estimated to be worth $5,000-$10,000.
