Leathertech event takes place in Bangladesh
The ninth edition of Leathertech Bangladesh, the international trade show for the leather, footwear and travel goods sectors, featuring machinery, components, chemicals, and accessories began on November 2, at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
The Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association is acting as lead support for the event with the aid of the Bangladesh Tanners Association, Bangladesh Finished Leather, Leathergoods, and Footwear Exporters Association, and Bangladesh Paduka Prostutkarak Samity.
The event is expected to offer an excellent opportunity for the local industry to learn from global leaders and keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the leather, footwear, and travel goods sector.
Ahead of the event, organisers said the three-day event is expected to feature nearly 200 exhibitors from 10 countries, including the Council for Leather Exports, the Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association, and the Confederation of Indian Footwear Industry from India.
