Pakistan’s leather industry experienced a fall in export revenue during the first three of the current financial year months (July-September 2023). There was an overall contraction of 13.6% in revenues, falling to $218.8 million. 

Figures for finished leather show a fall of nearly 30%, reaching $31.8 million for the three-month period. 

Pakistan’s footwear exports slid by 15.9% in value to $41.2 million.
