Footwear leads growth for Puma
Sports group Puma has reported sales of €6.6 million for the first nine months of this year, an increase of 10.3% year on year.
Footwear was the group’s biggest-selling category, achieving revenues of €3.5 billion for the nine-month period, growth of 19% year on year.
Apparel brought in €2.1 billion, growing by 1.6%, while sales of equipment contributed €962.4 million, up by 1.8%.
Sales in Europe were €2.75 billion, just ahead of the Americas with €2.5 billion. Europe delivered growth of 19.1% for Puma, while sales in the Americas were down by 1% compared to the same period last year. Sales in Asia were €1.3 billion, up by 18%.
