Gruppo Mastrotto to talk at Vogue Italia event
The president and CEO of Gruppo Mastrotto, Chiara Mastrotto, will be speaking at the first Italian edition of Forces of Fashion, an event organized by Vogue Italia.
This event is an important conference that takes place every year and focuses on the current state of the fashion world, with the aim of giving the entire supply chain a voice. This year, the conference will be held in Rome on October 21, at the former slaughterhouse in the Testaccio district.
The event will feature two pavilions. The first will host workshops and experiential spaces, while the other will host talks in which leading figures from the worlds of fashion, costume, and cinema will take the stage, presenting their visions to the public. The conference aims to inspire a multi-generational audience and play a key role in the cultural promotion of fashion.
Among the guests are actress, model and director Isabella Rossellini, Sabato De Sarno, artistic director of Gucci; Pierpaolo Piccioli, artistic director of Valentino; and Silvia Venturini Fendi, artistic director of Fendi's accessories and men's collections.
In the workshop pavilion, Gruppo Mastrotto's Chiara Mastrotto will give a speech entitled: 'Changing skin: the rediscovery of a circular material'. Her speech will focus on sustainability issues in the tanning sector, particularly the importance of leather in the fashion industry. She will be talking to eco-entrepreneur Eva Geraldine Fontanelli, with moderation by Giulia di Giamberardino, Fashion Contributor of Vogue Italia.
Chiara Mastrotto believes that the Vogue Forces of Fashion event is an unmissable opportunity for anyone working in the fashion industry. She says: "It is an event where creativity, art, and fashion come together in one space, and we are happy to be able to offer our expertise. This event gives us the chance to connect with the best designers, stylists and influencers in the industry, opening the door to new inspirations."
