Footwear and tanning machinery manufacturers’ association Assomac has said 6,500 people attended the 2023 Simac-Tanning Tech exhibition in Milan.

Around 60% of the visitors were from Italy, but 96 countries were represented among the total.

Assomac said visitor numbers increased by 37% compared to the 2022 event and that exhibitor numbers were also up, by 14% year on year.

Exhibitor numbers reached 320, taking the Simac-Tanning Tech event back to pre-covid levels.
