Ireland: outdoor education initiative to benefit from Keen capsule collection

Footwear brand Keen has launched a special version of its Pyrenees hiking boot to support Leave No Trace Ireland, a group that runs education programmes to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

This limited version of the boot has a nubuck leather upper, with the material sourced from tanneries with certification from multi-stakeholder body the Leather Working Group.

The boots also have a a high-rebound EVA midsole and non-marking rubber outsole with 4 millimetre multi-directional lugs for grip.

As part of this collaboration, 1% of all sales revenues of the boots in the special capsule collection will go to Leave No Trace Ireland to help fund its activities.
