Sports group Puma has announced a new footwear and athletic clothing collection with Lemlem, a brand launched by Ethiopian model and designer Liya Kebede.

Ms Kebede’s brand specialises in products made in Africa. Of the new joint venture with Puma, she said she hoped “to inspire women across the globe”.

The Puma-Lemlem collection comprises a running shoe, the PWR XX Nitro, a sports bra, running tights and an anorak.

Puma said the products showcase geometric prints and abstract textures “that celebrate the versatility of movement”.
