April and September events in Portugal
Portugal’s leather industry body APIC has announced that it will support the Expcouro event again this year. The exhibition will take place in Matosinhos, near Porto, on September 13 and 14, organised by Exponor.
Exhibitors will have finished leather, components and accessories on display and will aim to attract representatives of footwear, furniture, leathergoods and automotive interior companies as visitors.
APIC intends formally to launch its official support for Expocouro at an earlier gathering in Alcanena. It will invite industry representatives to the Alcanena leather museum on April 13.
At the Alcanena launch event, APIC will also present the latest leather collections to emerge from its PT Leather InDesign project.
The national leather industry body launched PT Leather InDesign with the aim of encouraging the country’s tanners to develop innovative collections.
