Uzbekistan’s main leather industry association, Uzcharmsanoat, has said exports of leather footwear and other products to Azerbaijan are set to increase.

Fakhriddin Boboev, Uzcharmsanoat chairman, said in recent comments that manufacturers in Uzbekistan had established good contact with large retail groups in Azerbaijan and that buyers from that market were planning to attend exhibitions in Uzbekistan with a view to increasing the volume of products they source from there.
