UNIC to host traceability and circularity seminar

Italy’s national tanning industry body, UNIC, will host a seminar on traceability and circularity in the international leather supply chain at the next edition of Lineapelle. The exhibition runs in Milan from February 21-23; this seminar will take place on February 22.

Speakers will include Fernando Bellese, now at campaign group World Wildlife Fund, Gustavo Gonzalez-Quijano from COTANCE and Sabrina Frontini from certification body ICEC.

UNIC will also use the event to present its latest sustainability report, sharing figures from the Italian leather industry for 2022.
