LVMH’s full-year revenue figure represents growth of 23% year on year. It said it had achieved significant revenue growth across all of its business groups and market share gains worldwide, with particularly strong growth in Europe, Japan and the US.
The group’s leathergoods and fashion business, which includes Berluti and a number of other brands with extensive shoe collections, achieved record revenues of €38.6 billion in 2022, which was 25% above the figure for 2021, when the leathergoods division also achieved record sales.
In 2022, its flagship brand, Louis Vuitton, achieved revenues of more than €20 billion for the first time.
Chief executive, Bernard Arnault, said: “Our performance in 2022 illustrates the exceptional appeal of our maisons and their ability to create desire during a year affected by economic and geopolitical challenges.”
