Capsule collection will mark Garmont’s work with ACBC
Italian outdoor footwear brand Garmont is to launch a capsule collection called ACBC x Garmont to mark work the two companies have been engaged in together to produce shoes more sustainably.
Milan-based ACBC, whose name stands for ‘Anything Can Be Changed’, is a fashion company that focuses on designing shoes and other products as sustainably as it can. It says it wants to reverse climate change by encouraging companies and people to make better decisions over what they make and what they wear. It was the first company in the Italian footwear sector to obtain, in 2021, B-Corp certification.
Garmont has said it began working with ACBC to bring “a new sustainable approach to footwear in the outdoor sector”.
The focal point of the new capsule collection is a shoe called Lagom, which is made from recycled pre- and post-consumer materials and designed to minimise impact on the environment.
