Key materials traceability for Timberland parent by 2028

VF Corporation, the parent group of Timberland and Vans, published its fifth sustainability report on November 7.

The report details the progress the group is making in meeting its sustainability goals. This year, its main achievement was an increase of 7% in its use of renewable energy in manufacturing by compared to the previous year; renewable energy now has a 34% of the total VF brands, which also include The North Face, use in their operations. The group is aiming to make this 100% by 2026.

The report also included traceability maps for 100 of the group’s most popular products. It said that, by 2028, it will be possible to trace five key materials.
