Bangladesh platform for Texon innovations
Footwear materials developer Texon will take part in the Leathertech 2022 exhibition in Bangladesh. The event will take place from December 8-10 at the International Convention City venue in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
Texon said it wanted to use its presence at the exhibition to showcase to footwear manufacturers components it has recently re-engineered to include more bio-based and recycled content. Visitors will also be able to learn about new woven and cellulose products that Texon has developed to help improve the design, performance and environmental credentials of footwear.
Products on display for the first time at Leathertech will include ProWeave jacquard weaving technology, Texon Verde bio-based, biodegradable material, Reform 2.0 heel counters with 66% sustainably sourced content, and Ecostrobe, Texon’s first insole made with 100% recycled content.
