Istanbul will host the next World Footwear Congress

European footwear industry body CEC has announced that the seventh World Footwear Congress will take place in Istanbul from May 9-11, 2023.

Local organisers will be the Footwear Industry Association of Turkey (TASD), who will run the event jointly with CEC.

CEC introduced the World Footwear Congress in 2003 and said on making the Istanbul announcement that the event that the congress is now an event with worldwide recognition.

“It has the aim of increasing international collaboration to support industry competitiveness and growth,” it explained.
