Shoe components boost for Brazil
Brazil’s national association for manufacturers of footwear components, Assintecal, has reported export revenues of $253 million for the first seven months of this year.
This figure marks an increase of 20% compared to the same period in 2021.
International marketing manager for the organisation, Luiz Ribas Junior, said: “An increase in freight costs and the difficulties in securing materials from Asia has led companies to buy more from Brazil.”
