07/09/2022

The Association of Industrial Supplier Companies of Mexico (APIMEX), which works to strengthen and promote companies in the supply sector, has announced Fernando Padilla as its new president. He took up the position in August.

Mr Padilla founded Mexi Comercial, a company associated with the leather and footwear business in León, Guanajuato, in 2008. In addition, he has been the representative of the APLF group of trade fairs in Mexico since 2005.

ANPIC, the National Association of Suppliers to the Footwear Industry, is part of APIMEX, and thus the ANPIC trade fair is part of the focus of APIMEX.

The association is represented in eight Mexican states and brings together more than 200 supplier companies from 11 sectors. These sectors include leather and footwear, machinery and equipment, chemicals, leathergoods, the agro-industry, automotive, textiles, and furniture.
