The 106th Argentine Footwear Exhibition (EFICA) took place in Buenos Aires from June 26-28. 

Around 100 companies presented footwear collections for spring-summer 2022-2023 fashion season, with wholesale and retail buyers from all parts of the country in attendance to make their selections and place orders.

Among those present was the minister of productive development, Daniel Scioli (pictured), who commented: “In 2015 the Argentinean industry produced 125 million pairs of shoes, while last year it managed to begin its recovery reaching 107 million. This year, with the purchase orders for next season that the factories already have, the sector expects to return to the levels of 2015.”
