Leather chemicals group TFL hosted a three-day training event in early June for students at Germany’s International Shoe Competence Centre (ISC), part of an ongoing programme of support for the work of the Pirmasens-based organisation.

TFL’s training focused on helping ISC students better understand leather and its application in shoe manufacturing.

Participants including young professionals already working in the footwear industry at brands including adidas and Deichmann, who are engaged in professional development programmes at ISC.
