Creative design project launched at Ecco Leather
The leather manufacturing division of footwear group Ecco has launched a new design initiative called At Kollektive.
For this, Ecco Leather has brought together a group of designers to create original items from leather to illustrate qualities such as versatility and longevity.
These creatives are designers Natacha Ramsay-Levi, Isaac Reina, Kostas Murkudis and Bianca Saunders, and architect Bernard Dubois.
The At Kollektive project will cover multiple applications in which leather can be used, including footwear, interiors, furniture, accessories, bags, and small leathergoods. Items the group creates will have a limited production run to avoid waste and retain items’ exclusivity.
The first designs from At Kollective will be showcased at Paris Fashion Week from June 21-26.
