Two more judges for Real Leather Stay Different
Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA) has announced two new judges for its 2022 Real Leather, Stay Different student design competition.
It had already announced celebrity fashion stylist Mike Adler and the 2021 winner of the award, Emily Omesi, as judges for the 2022 competition. They will be joined on the panel for the final in London on September 15 by Christopher Koerber, managing director of Hugo Boss’s Ticino business unit, and by Rosie Wollacott Phillips, group sustainability manager of Mulberry.
Open to anyone studying art and design or has graduated from art and design higher education within the last two years, Real Leather, Stay Different aims to encourage a new generation of designers “to reconsider their relationship with leather” and other natural materials.
LHCA runs the competition in partnership with Arts Thread, an online platform for emerging artists and designers.
