Assocalzaturifici announces that Almaty event will go ahead
Italian national footwear manufacturers’ association Assocalzaturifici has announced that its Moda Italiana@Almaty exhibition will take place again this year.
This exhibition has run, on and off, for more than a decade as part of a series of business events that the Italian footwear industry has run in the region, with others taking place in Kiev in Ukraine and in Moscow in Russia. The Moda Italiana events were interrupted by covid-19 in 2020 and 2021.
This year, the war in Ukraine has put paid to plans to relaunch the Kiev and Moscow events, but Assocalzaturifici has decided to go ahead with Moda Italiana@Almaty, with 40 Italian shoe brands travelling to Kazakhstan to show off their latest collections from April 6-8.
