United front at Micam and Mipel
The Micam and Mipel exhibitions ran in Milan from March 13-15. Both events presented a united front under the banner ‘Better Together’.
Italy’s national bodies for footwear and leathergoods manufacturers, Assocalzaturifici and Assopellettieri, said they viewed this joint approach as a more powerful way to present high-quality products that are made in Italy.
They said ‘Better Together’ also gave them an opportunity to emphasise their member companies’ commitment to sustainability.
In total, they said the two exhibitions would provide a showcase for more than 1,400 brands, from Italy and other countries.
