Mallorca-based footwear producer Camper has become a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact.

This move voluntarily commits Camper to the Compact’s principles. There are ten of these, covering workers’ rights, environmental responsibility, business ethics and human rights.

Camper describes itself as a family-owned company that has sustainability “as part of our DNA”. It has said it is always looking for ways of pushing itself forward in this area, insisting: “As sustainability has no end, we can never be satisfied with what we have already achieved.”
