Two Finnish companies recently became the newest members of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group.

Family-owned footwear brand Pomar has become a full member. It is a company that dedicates itself to making “well-crafted shoes that empower people to find adventure and enjoy life on the move, whatever the conditions”.

It says its preference for “rugged, durable materials”, including Gore-Tex membranes, oiled leather and non-slip rubbers, helps make this possible.

Antimicrobial technology provider NordShield has become a technology brand member of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group. It says its main aim is to help clothing brands replace non-renewable ingredients in their antimicrobial treatment choices.
