Tod’s CEO departs, Della Valle brothers resume leadership
High-end footwear group Tod’s has parted company with chief executive, Umberto Macchi di Cellere. Mr Macchi di Cellere took up the role in November 2017.
Tod’s announced that its chairman, Diego Della Valle, and vice-chairman, Andrea Della Valle, would lead the company jointly.
Rather than appoint a new chief executive, it has brough former L’Oréal, Burberry and Christian Dior executive, Simona Cattaneo, as general manager.
It said this change would shorten and speed up the decision-making process.
