Italian beer company Peroni Nastro Azzurro has teamed up with footwear brand M.Gemi to create a limited-edition range of leather trainers.

The Peroni x M.Gemi collection features a Nastro Azzuro (blue ribbon)-inspired blue heel stitched with Peroni’s signature red tag, a blue and white striped shoe sock, and a Made in Italy stamp on the side of the sole.

The shoes are made at some of Italy’s “most renowned family-owned workshops”, according to M.Gemi.

Cara Lauritzen, senior marketing manager for Peroni at Molson Coors Beverage Company, said: “We’re proud of our Italian heritage and thrilled to partner with a fashion brand that puts the same level of craftsmanship into their shoes as we do our birra.”
