Yue Yuen reports ‘decent recovery’
Athletic footwear manufacturing group Yue Yuen generated revenues of $4.8 billion in the first six months of 2021, an increase of 17.7% compared to the same period last year.
Yue Yuen said it had experienced a “decent recovery from the low base of a year ago”.
It said there had been a lift in demand; the volume of shoes it shipped in the first half of 2021 increased by 5% year on year to reach 136.4 million pairs. The average selling price went up by 6.5% to reach $18.37 per pair.
