US-based outdoor group VF Corp has appointed a new chief financial officer and a new chief marketing officer for its Vans footwear brand.

VF veteran Matt Puckett is the new chief financial officer; he has been made an executive vice-president.

Mr Puckett joined the company in 2001 and has held a series of finance roles, including CFO of VF’s Sportswear Coalition, Timberland and VF International. He succeeds Scott Roe who announced his retirement from VF to pursue other opportunities.

Separately, footwear brand Vans has hired Kristin Harrer as chief marketing officer. Ms Harrer brings over 20 years’ experience leading marketing teams at consumer brands, including Samsung and Nike.
