Sportswear company New Balance and Italy-based clothing brand Stone Island have signed a long-term partnership that will “bring shared values to life in new and creative ways”.

Initial talks were based on the vision of developing footwear collections that will roll out over the next few years.

Carlo Rivetti, president and creative director at Stone Island, said: “To exchange concepts and ideas by opening doors to each other’s R&D teams, with the aim to create great sound product, is exciting and the greatest message we can jointly convey to our audiences.”
