Online event dedicated to safety footwear
Portuguese safety footwear group AMF and specialist sole manufacturer for technical shoes Aloft have jointly organised an online conference devoted to this segment of the shoe industry. The event, Safety Footwear Revolution Week, will take place across four mornings, from November 23-26.
Each day will have a theme: the European industry, digital, technical footwear and the environment.
Dignitaries, including footwear industry leaders Luis Onofre, president of the European Footwear Federation (CEC) and Leandro Melo, general manager of research and technology centre CTCP, and two Portuguese government ministers, will give an introduction at the start of each day.
This will be followed by discussion panels, pitch sessions for new technology and workshop sessions.
Technology providers taking part will include Desma, Sympatex, Michelin and Grupo Morón.
