Leather manufacturing group ISA TanTec has introduced a leather lace designed for waterproof outdoor footwear.

Auburn Leather’s Stay Dry is a non-wicking full grain leather lace developed for any outdoor footwear styles, but is particularly suited to waterproof shoes. The lace is described as SATRA TM305 maximum of 20mm after two hours, with a pull strength of 25kg>3.0mm and a crocking of 2.5.

“Leather laces are rich in texture and feel, timeless heritage, lasting tradition, and encompass the overall essence of natural quality,” according to the company. “Using leather footwear lace is a proven value-add to any footwear design.”
