Vice-president of the Argentinean Footwear Association (CIC), Sergio Panossian, has died.

Over many years, Mr Panossian was a popular and influential representative of the footwear industry in Argentina and was often involved in presenting the needs and concerns of shoe manufacturers there to representatives of the government.

Former colleagues said on social media that Mr Panossian had fallen victim of covid-19 and messages from his family confirmed this.
