In spite of everything, analysts predict 7% for Li-Ning this year
Analysts at KGI Securities have predicted that, in spite of covid-19, Chinese sports brand Li-Ning will increase its revenues by 7% this year.
Li-Ning has had a strong re-start to its business, aided by its popularity in its home country (founder, Li Ning, is a popular former Olympic gymnast) and its widespread network of 7,000 stores there.
People spending more time at home and less time in the office and increased uptake in running, walking and working out have helped boost demand for sports footwear and clothing in general. But KGI analysts have said that Li-Ning has been less exposed to difficult times in Europe and North America than some other Chinese brands.
