Following what it calls “intensive consultation” with leather and footwear association HDSL and with footwear retailers’ federation BDSE, the organiser of the Gallery Shoes exhibition has said its March edition will go ahead as planned.

The event takes place in Düsseldorf from March 8-10. Organiser, Igedo, said: “Major global events that have recently been cancelled are not comparable to Gallery Shoes in terms of visitors and exhibitors.”

It said safety precautions agreed with the public health department of the city of Düsseldorf will be in place at the event.
