Bigger global tennis footprint is the aim for ASICS

Japanese sports brand ASICS has made Borna Coric from Croatia and Caroline Garcia from France key players in its attempt to expand its global tennis footprint.

At the start of January, it announced that Borna Coric will wear its Court FF 2 shoe this year, while Ms Garcia will play matches in the ASICS Gel Resolution 8 footwear.

Technology in the Court FF 2 includes proprietary Gel technology in the forefoot and in the back of the shoe for cushioning. It also has proprietary technology called Flytefoam in the midsole to aid energy return.

The Gel Resolution 8 also has Gel technology built into it, but in addition sports technology called Dynawall (for balance) and Dynawrap for fit.
